Maeridik is the dark-fae servant of an Unseelie Lord named Detherwyn. For centuries she was the custodian of a hidden fairie ring in the Sacred Forests of Palrim which allowed the dark-fae easy access to the mortal realm away from Auberich's prying eyes.
Since her defeat at the hands of captured adventurers and century old Veldron, it's been said that she can no longer cast harmful spells and is under a geas to be 'nice' to mortals and other fae... no doubt rankling her deeply. Her last known appearance on the mortal plane had her under the command of another high-ranked dark Fae but able to work magiks once more.
Maeridik appears as a woman in dark blue satins with dark colored wings. She dresses elegantly and is known to adhere to the 'old ways' of riddling and tormenting mortals to their deaths.
